This is a gut rehab of a typical Chicago 2-story frame building which will transform into a modern, approximately 2,700SF single family home. Our scope involves the gut rehab of the interiors to accomplish extensive layout changes involving the relocation of the common living areas to the 2nd Floor and the private living quarters to the 1st Floor. The project also requires the stuctural reinforcement of the interiors, excavation of the basement, a rear addition, a roof addition, and architectural exterior cladding.

This modern home will be brought to life through the deconversion of a typical Chicago 2-flat featuring approximately 3,800SF of interior living space and 825SF of outdoor living installations. Our scope includes interior new construction of the structure, excavation of the basement, a new construction garage with roof deck living, custom fabricated structural and ornamental steel, a top floor penthouse addition with outdoor terrace, extensive custom fabrication of millwork and stone, an automated smart-home technology system, and internationally sourced interiors complete with indoor sauna and spa. In addition, an interior lightwell has been designed to resemble a lantern illuminating all floors from within.
